This merger was completed by July 1982, with Avery Knight moving to the larger premises at James Street West, Bath.````Bowlers Engineering Supplies Ltd. began trading in 1970, re-establishing the business of a very old and respected Company in Corn Street, Bath. Bowlers Engineering was well known for its wide ranging stocks of steel, non-ferrous metals, wrought and cast products; also valves, fittings and all kinds of engineering accessories.````The combined resources of the two organisations can now supply a much wider selection of tools, fastenings, fixings and materials to the Construction, and Engineering Industries. Avery Knight & Bowlers are also able to provide, from a unique range of tools chosen by their engineers, for Masons, Carvers, Sculptors and Allied Professions.````We are able to supply orders of any volume for trade or DIY. Most of the range is available for delivery throughout the UK and for export worldwide. As a part of the service, materials can be fabricated, or machined, to customer requirements.
